Another teenager has just been murdered. Even as we -and in this post, I am speaking directly to Israeli and Diaspora Jews, although the content could be applicable to other groups- even as we mourn the horrific deaths of those who are more like us, or more likely to have been us, we cannot forget that the others killed also had favorite songs and foods that they loved, and maybe little siblings also. I wonder what Yousef Abu Zagher’s favorite song was, and my heart clenches up when I imagine his little siblings, if he had little siblings. I wish we had media that would tell us things like that. Allah yerhamo, may God have mercy on him and bring healing to his family. Please no more deaths.
