Identities of Contradiction (25 min., 2011). An exploration of questions of identity, history and self-defition with Palestinian citizens of Israel living in the villages of Deir al-Assad, al-Bineh and Majd al-Krum. This film has been publicly screened dozens of times including, most notably, in school classrooms in Deir al-Assad and al-Bineh. Udi Segal – Israeli Refusenik (3 min., 2014). Produced along with Yuval Orr, this short film is a brief portrait of 19-year old Udi Segal, the day before he is sent to jail for refusing to enlist. Udi spent over 50 days in jail before he was eventually released on pro forma mental health grounds November 2014.
Oh the woe of me (3 min., 2010). This one is bit less serious than the others. It was produced with my brother, Jesse, and is a musical rendition of a lengthy text message sent by our sister, Liana, when she was 13.
